Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. The Oncology Care Unit department strives to provide competent and safe care to patients admitted for acute nursing interventions of 24 hours or more. Our highly trained and professional staff treats people recovering from serious illness requiring telemetry monitoring, oncology treatment, orthopedic and major surgeries. Medication and treatments are provided in a warm and caring environment that facilitates swift recovery. As the Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide professional and compassionate nursing services to the Straub community through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in our Oncology Care Unit. You will also function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time. One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Telemetry. - - Preferred Qualifications: - - One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Oncology. Two (2) years of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Telemetry.
